Expand Recent File List in Query Analyzer

We have a need to be able to see more than 5 files in the recent file list in
Query Analyzer. We tried hacking the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\SQL
Query Analyzer\Recent File List
We tried to add addtional files in this key with no success. I know this is
kind of an odd request, and it's certainly only for convenience, but if
anyone can help us it would be most appreciated!!
I don't believe this setting is configurable.
