Export data in cube browser to excel

Hi All

Is there a way to export data directly from the browser of a cube into excel
formats ?
( Just like we have a export option in reporting services.)

What browsers are you thinking about?

I think that most of the main third supplier tools support export to Excel in an advanced(with links) or more primitive way(text based export).

Excel 2007(the next release) will support all AS2005 features that I can think about.

|||If you are talking about the cube browser in SQL Server Management Studio or BI Studio then you can export to Excel from the pivot table the browser uses.

1. Put something onto the pivot table.
2. Invoke the context menu (right mouse button click) of the pivot table and invoke Commands and Options menu.
3. Go to Behavior tab of the property sheet, which will appear.
4. Check the "Toolbar" checkbox.

There will be a toolbar shown for the pivot table, which contains export to Excel button.sql
